In recent years, more and more dentists are using laser applications in dentistry. The use of lasers in dentistry is not usually part of the curriculum covered in undergraduate DDS or equivalent degrees. Many dentists want to learn more about the use of lasers in treating their patients. Market demand in this area continues to grow, contributing to today’s prevalent trend of minimally invasive treatments.
This Masters program offers online theoretical training from experienced tutors, as well as two weeks of practical training in this field. It offers learning opportunities on the overall use of the various lasers and the different types of treatments.
Dentists actively participate in a wide range of in-person treatments of cases in a real practical setting, giving them the opportunity to better understand the use of lasers in the following areas:
The program seeks physicians who will ultimately graduate at an excellent level of knowledge in this field and will possess a thorough knowledge on how to make use of all the appropriate advanced technology.
Master in “LASER APPLICATIONS IN DENTAL SCIENCES”
The duration of this course is for two year with 120 ECTS.
The tutors, all of whom have a background in clinical applications and innovation, come from the best academic institutions and are willing to share their pioneering knowledge with prospective students.
The course of study is divided into 4 semesters. It has three different modes of study of which the completion of both is required to be awarded the degree.
Theoretical online education
The postgraduate students are taught by attending lectures given by many international tutors online.
Projects, assignments, and PowerPoint presentations.
In-person practical education
Students learn in practice by participating in hands-on laser treatments. They will be taking part in a wide range of laser applications in all fields of dentistry. This is the part that makes the doctor a leader in his field and equips him with the necessary skills so as to be able to handle different kinds of cases by using laser devices.
The third part, Research Track
This is a unique part of this postgraduate program. Students will be asked to review the literature as well as complete an individual research project. They will also prepare a thesis related to their research, which they will defend orally. Graduates of this Master’s program will be trained professionals with very good theoretical and clinical knowledge in the specialization of laser dental applications, techniques, and concepts.
We believe that the program bridges the gap between theoretical and clinical education regarding the use of laser applications in dentistry and empowers clinicians to successfully use this technology in their clinics.
It is important that our clinicians acquire the depth of knowledge so as to make the right decisions when dealing with these types of cases. As a result, they will implement the right practices with less stress and in a more enjoyable manner. They will also understand and appreciate how to provide better care to their patients.
We strongly believe that our program is the solution to the challenges in these areas of dentistry. The faculty of this program answers the call to serve our profession at the highest level. Together we will excel and achieve professional freedom and advancement.
