In recent years, more and more dentists are using laser applications in dentistry. The use of lasers in dentistry is not usually part of the curriculum covered in undergraduate DDS or equivalent degrees. Many dentists want to learn more about the use of lasers in treating their patients. Market demand in this area continues to grow, contributing to today’s prevalent trend of minimally invasive treatments.
This Masters program offers online theoretical training from experienced tutors, as well as two weeks of practical training in this field. It offers learning opportunities on the overall use of the various lasers and the different types of treatments.

CURRICULUM
The course of study is divided into 4 semesters. It has three different modes of study of which the completion of both is required to be awarded the degree.
Theoretical online education
The postgraduate students are taught by attending lectures given by many international tutors online.
Projects, assignments, and PowerPoint presentations.
In-person practical education
Students learn in practice by participating in hands-on laser treatments. They will be taking part in a wide range of laser applications in all fields of dentistry. This is the part that makes the doctor a leader in his field and equips him with the necessary skills so as to be able to handle different kinds of cases by using laser devices.
The third part, Research Track
This is a unique part of this postgraduate program. Students will be asked to review the literature as well as complete an individual research project. They will also prepare a thesis related to their research, which they will defend orally. Graduates of this Master’s program will be trained professionals with very good theoretical and clinical knowledge in the specialization of laser dental applications, techniques, and concepts.

Candidates for this program should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Sciences or Oral Health or any other equivalent award in Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
